Tuesday, May 13th, 2008

The much awaited boxing bout which broke all-records In Pay Per View and live sales tickets on their encounter is about the happen again this coming September 2008- Oscar Dela Hoya versus Floyd Mayweather, Jr.

We vividly still remember that the “Dela Hoya vs. Mayweather: The World Awaits” which happened last May 5, 2007 at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada was considered to be one of the most lucrative boxing matches in the history of boxing as it generated around $120 million from its revenue.
We know who won the fight by just a split decision, Floyd Mayweather, Jr. that gave him the WBC (World Boxing Council) Championship title. But then again, it was just a split decision knowing that Floyd Mayweather, Jr. is known for knocking his opponents. Dela Hoya that time dominated the fight in the earlier rounds but due to fatigue and all, Mayweather took control over the last few rounds.

This time, a rematch is being scheduled this September 2008 but not on the light middleweight division rather on the welterweight division at 170lbs. However, there are speculations that the rematch may not break their last earning records but then again, the rematch is another bout we all look forward too. Honor, pride and lots of money is at stake on this coming boxing big event which definitely will not be a letdown to all of us.

So have those De La Hoya vs Mayweather tickets now!

In the real estate world, one has to be well-versed about the in’s and out’s of the said industry before plunging into it because it really takes a lot of things to consider before doing such.

You need to understand the different laws and codes in taxation that pertains to real estate in order to not be swayed or something with whatever your decision maybe in the future in selling or buying properties.

Actually, if you know the codes such as the 1031 on real property ownership, you can fairly gain much income from it since the said code highly favors sellers and buyers alike.

But what is Internal Revenue Code (IRC) 1031 anyway? It is actually more on the reinvestment of the proceeds of a sold real property to another like-kind property which in doing so, the capital gains taxes are deferred. Is that simple? Yes, it is.Because it is assumed that you haven’t gain yet any income in selling your property because you just purchased another like-kind property thus deferment of gain taxes is granted.

Now, don’t be misled that the like-kind property that you acquired is tax-free rather it is just tax-deferred. But even that so, the mere postponement of the tax collection by the Federal Government is already a good indicator that you can repackage your portfolio without losing anything because of taxes. Be Fit, Enroll Into Boxing Lessons

Saturday, April 12th, 2008

nullThe recent boxing brawl that happened between Manny “Pacman” Paquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez has rocked the world again by their performance on the ring. It was an action-packed rematch that lasted up to the last round – 12 whooping boxing rounds.

Actually, I am boxing fan to many great boxers of all time such as Mohammad Ali, Mike Tyson, Sugar Ray Lenard and a lot more. In fact, I have a collection of their pictures and magazines inside my drawer. But most of all, I have learned some few boxing moves from them such that from time to time, I go to the gym to at least burn some calories and keep me fit through shadow boxing and punching boxing bags. Good thing is, the gym I frequent has a complete set of boxing equipment that makes me satisfied so far.

So if you want to be fit and agile, enroll into boxing lessons. I tell you it is really worth it.
